Usually not if the overall job offers are reasonably similar and the rent difference is manageable. Grant would rather an Aggie grad choose the city and lifestyle they genuinely prefer than save a modest amount each month while living somewhere they enjoy much less. Compare compensation, commute, total housing cost and career opportunity, but give real weight to where you think you will build the happiest everyday life.
