Which Austin area is best for an Aggie grad who wants parks and outdoor social life?

Quick answer

Mueller is one of Grant’s strongest choices for that specific combination because its parks, trails, mixed-use layout and community activity can make outdoor routines social as well as recreational. South Lamar and South Congress are strong when Zilker and central Austin lifestyle matter more. The best choice still depends on employer location and how often you commute.
