Ask how often events actually happen, what the last few events were, typical attendance, who organizes them, whether a current calendar exists and how residents are notified. Grant gives much more credit to recurring, well-attended programming than a vague promise that the property is “social.” Weekly or frequent events create repeated contact; one occasional mixer usually does not.
