Quick answer
Use Aggie connections as a strong starting point, not your entire social plan. Local A&M Clubs, game watches and fellow Aggies can make the first introductions easier because you already share something meaningful. But Grant recommends building non-Aggie connections too through work, volunteering, church, fitness, resident events and neighborhood activities. A healthy post-college network usually has several circles rather than one.
